Today we had a bit of a Wacky Thursday with the threat of rain looming. The first half of the day was normal, Fun with Justin played some kick the can, and hit up the playground, and tried to tackle a group speed puzzle, green screen made a few new movies, and DIY class made some skateboard hooks so we could have a nice storage solution. It works great! The second half of the day became a smorgasbord of guitar playing, video gaming, movie watching, and swimming type of day.
Speaking of movies, we're premiering a few new movies we made today. We hope you like them!
The first movie involves Godzilla, a growing kid the size of a skyscraper, and loneliness.

The third movie is a prequel in a series of movies that we plan to make into a trilogy. The technique we used was to involve everyone in the film making process. Have you ever created one of those art projects where you fold up a piece of paper into three parts and each person has to draw a monster in each section without knowing what the other person created. Well we decided for Fun with Justin that we'd do just that, except we'd make a movie. We all were the directors. And we'd film one sequence and then turn the director's chair over to the next kid and so on until we had a movie that might not make the most sense but we definitely had fun filming it and being in charge of what to do.
